El Sol Energy Storage Center
The El Sol Energy Storage Center is a proposed 250-megawatt energy storage project located in Maricopa County, Arizona that will deliver homegrown energy to meet the nation's growing demand for cleaner, more reliable, affordable electricity, while creating jobs and investing in local communities. Phase 1 (50 MW) began operating in 2024. Phase 2 (200 MW) is anticipated to reach commercial operations in 2029.

The project is officially storing clean, reliable energy, and is being maintained by 24/7 operations & maintenance experts. The project owner will also perform post-construction environmental studies, as needed.
